In my podcast episode “Tax Charity Scam,” I talked about the dangers of trying to evade the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) by way of charitable donations. After re-reading a column by tax expert Jamie Golombek on that subject, I think it’s time for another reminder to all of us that the CRA is death on dodgy charity tax shelters.
